Color Spilled Coins (Dead Leaves) Test Chart - texture Imatest texture charts measure texture sharpness and come in color and black and white. The “Dead Leaves” chart was the first chart to test a camera’s ability to reproduce texture. Imatest has improved upon this with our “Spilled Coins” chart, which is perfectly scale invariant, producing reliable and consistent test results
Dynamic Range Charts Our dynamic range charts are designed to test tonal response, noise, basic resolution and color. When used with the Stepchart module, a high range of density levels may be tested.
Color Charts Use the miniaturized ColorGauge and Rez Checker for close range measurements of color,tone, exposure error, white balance and noise.These charts are of particular interest for medical imaging, especially endoscopes.
Infrared Targets Imatest’s specialized Infrared targets support testing in short to medium wavelengths (1.48microns) and long wavelengths (815microns). Imatest’s standard, inkjetprinted test charts work in nearinfrared wavelengths up to 1.4 microns. The targets produce adequate contrast toeffectively test a range of infrared camera systems.
Training Imatest offers Training Courses throughout the year in the U.S., Asia and Europe. In this intensive 2day course, students will discover the many factors that contribute to image quality and how to use Imatest to measure each factor. Learn to select test charts and configure options to achieve testing objectives.
SFRreg Test Chart SKU: Reg The SFRreg test target consists of a slanted-edge quadrant pattern enclosed within a circle. It is used for measuring MTF and lateral chromatic aberration. A test image typically contains several targets that are automatically detected and analyzed by Imatest 4.2.  Distortion Note: High amounts of distortion where the target may be compressed so that the major axis is 50% larger than the minor axis may have issues with autodetection. Pre-distortion for may be necessary for these cases.
High Dynamic Range Test Chart SKU: ITHDR36 GrayWorld HDR This chart has 36 low-noise density patches and a density range exceeding 120dB (optical density >6.5). This is a significantly higher range than our standard ITDR36. A nearly circular patch arrangement ensures that vignetting has minimal effect on results. Additionally, there are regions on the left and right sides of the chart for detecting flare light which can interfere with HDR performance. The chart has an active area of 197x235 mm (7.75x9.25 inches) on 203x254 mm (8x10 inch) film.
Sinusoidal Siemens Star The Sinusoidal Siemens Star target is consistent with the ISO12233:2014 standard. It is printed on matte paper. The modulation of the radial sinusoidal patern is close to a 50:1 contrast ratio.
